About us
House of Paws, or HOP, Grooming is a locally-owned and operated dog grooming salon on the South side of Bloomington, IN established in 2022. Our owner, Shena House, earned a Bachelor's in Animal Behavior from the city's own Indiana University and has been a part of community for over a decade. All our groomers are either professionally trained at a grooming academy or trained in-house to ensure your pet is in good hands.
Our focus is on positive behavior and experiences here at HOP! We create a dog-friendly atmosphere to keep your pets feeling comfortable. Our open-concept salon allows dogs to interact with each other to allow them to play and help keep them relaxed. Don't worry, though, if your dog doesn't like other pups--we do have isolation areas and kennels. We offer toys, treats, relaxing music, and positive re-enforcement techniques to keep your dog's tail wagging through
their whole experience. A few of our clients have compared dropping off their dog at our salon to taking them to doggie daycare.
